WeHo Restaurant Darling Launches Sunday Brunch

Sean Brock’s WeHo restaurant, Darling, officially launches Sunday Brunch. There will be salty, there will be sweet, vinyl will be spinning, and the lounge area’s big, beautiful retractable ceiling will be put to good use. The menu features nods to Sean’s Southern heritage with dishes like Southern Fried Chicken with house hot sauce & market pickles, Red Fife Pancakes with buttermilk ricotta & sorghum syrup, and a Breakfast Plate stacked with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, sourdough toast, and Anson Mills grits. To answer the question on everyone’s minds: Yes, The Darling dry-aged steak burger IS on the brunch menu with the option to add a fried egg (which you must, right?). Two of Los Angeles’ most celebrated culinary events for a cause, Taste of the Nation and the No Kid Hungry Dinner, are combining to create a new and unforgettable experience, called Night Out for No Kid Hungry! The event will bring together over 50 of the best chefs, restaurateurs, tastemakers and mixologists from around the country to serve guests bites, craft cocktails, and desserts all in support of No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Tastemakers in attendance include Netflix’s BBQ Showdown Judge and James Beard Pitmaster Kevin Bludso, Master Chef Ludo Lefebvre,  Michelin Star restaurants such as Osteria Mozza and Kali Restaurant, and multiple James Beard Award winners and finalists. Guests have the option to choose between two styles of savoring by attending either The Tasting, a lively sampling event similar to the beloved Taste of the Nation event, or The Dinner, an intimate, multi-course sit-down experience. Guests attending The Dinner will experience a one-time-only multi-course meal curated by the best California has to offer.
