Los Angeles Magazine held the Women of Impact 2026 Luncheon to kick off Oscars Weekend on Friday, March 13th, 2026, with an inspiring afternoon that honored the trailblazing leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers shaping Los Angeles and beyond. This year’s celebration featured acclaimed actress, advocate, and March “LA Woman” Issue cover star Olivia Munn, who was recognized as the 2026 Woman of the Year for her incredible journey overcoming Breast Cancer and advocating for awareness and testing, as well as her standout acting work on the hit Apple TV show Friends and Neighbors which debuts Season 2 in early April 2026. As the guest of honor, Olivia participated in a featured Keynote Q&A conversation with Editor-in-Chief Jasmin Rosemberg which was truly inspirational, educational and engaging. The session was introduced by Olivia’s dear friend, actress and podcast host, Jessica St. Clair. The 2026 luncheon was hosted by publisher Chris Gialanella and included opening remarks provided by Beverly Hills Mayor Dr. Sharona Nazarian. (Cover Photo credit: irvin and Phil Limprasertwong)

Tyrer-Cuzick Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool
Attendees then headed into the international ballroom at the iconic Beverly Hilton for the 500-attendee luncheon, led by Los Angeles publisher Chris Gialanella and Editor-In-Chief Jasmin Rosemberg who curated the event in honor of cover star and LA Woman of the year, Olivia Munn.
In a deeply moving and candid conversation, Olivia spoke openly about her breast cancer journey and the life-saving impact of the Tyrer-Cuzick breast cancer risk assessment tool, a tool she credits with detecting her elevated risk and ultimately saving her life. With grace, vulnerability, and fierce advocacy, she urged every woman in the room (and beyond) to get checked, know their risk, and take control of their health before it’s too late.
Her message was clear: early detection saves lives. Awareness saves lives. And asking the right questions and demanding the right tools can mean the difference between catching cancer early and facing a much harder fight.
Women’s History Month
As we close out Women’s History Month, the Women of Impact 2026 Luncheon reminded us that honoring women isn’t just about celebrating their achievements, it’s about empowering them with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to protect themselves, advocate for their health, and continue breaking barriers in every space they occupy.
Olivia Munn’s courage, her advocacy, and her refusal to stay silent about her experience is changing lives. And that’s exactly what a Woman of the Year looks like.

If you take one thing away from this event, let it be this: Get your breast cancer risk assessed. It could save your life.
