From the Bay Area to LA: This New Santa Monica Restaurant Serves the Best Seafood Near Me

As a seafood connoisseur always on the hunt for the next must-try seafood restaurant, I couldn’t wait to check out Pacific Catch’s first Los Angeles location in Santa Monica. This beloved Bay Area seafood spot has finally made its way south, bringing their sustainable seafood philosophy and Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine to the Santa Monica’s beachside community. Stepping into the 5,500-square-foot space just steps from the Promenade, I was immediately transported to a coastal paradise. The restaurant’s design perfectly captures that laid-back California beach vibe we all love, with ocean-blue booths, natural wood finishes, and beautiful rattan lampshades. Local LA artist Paul Rice’s custom mural adds the perfect touch of authenticity to the space. The retractable windows opening to the 42-seat patio create that dreamy indoor-outdoor flow that’s so quintessentially SoCal.

Mouthwatering Seafood Near Me

Let’s talk about the menu – because it has some of the best seafood near me – period! I started with one of their signature dishes, the Cabo Calamari, and I’m still dreaming about it. The Calamari was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of kick. Next up was the Pupu Platter, which is basically a greatest hits collection of these Pacific Rim appetizers: Coconut Shrimp, Sticky Ribs, Spicy Salmon Sushi Tacos, and Guaca-Poke, Tortilla Chips with Spicy Cucumber Banchan.

But the real showstopper? The limited-time Hot Fish Burger. Trust me, you need to try this before it’s gone. It’s the perfect balance of heat and flavor that’ll have you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal.

I can’t forget to mention the robust Thai Brussels for a side dish, and because life’s too short to skip dessert, you must wrap things up with their Crispy Dulce De Leche “Spring Rolls” – a creative twist on traditional spring rolls that satisfies any sweet tooth.

When I tell you Pacific Catch has one of the best menus. On my next visit I plan on trying the Lobster Rolls, Spicy Green Curry Bowl with Grilled Salmon, Sushi, and Chowder (Grilled Salmon or Manila Clam).

Craft Signature Cocktails And Innovative Takes On Classic Tiki Favorites

Pacific Catch’s full-service bar is a destination in itself, serving up craft cocktails that’ll make you feel like you’re on a tropical getaway. From their Jala-Piña Margarita to the Hawaiian Butterfly and Caramelized Pina Colada, the drink menu perfectly complements their Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine. There’s also a selection of Pacific-influenced, local, and craft beers, canned and bottled drinks, wines by the glass, JuneShine hard kombucha, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages are also available for order.
