There’s a New Hidden Gem in DTLA…

There’s a new hidden gem in town, and it offers mouthwatering Thai food. The family-owned White Elephant brings their fresh and innovative menu of Thai delicacies to the heart of downtown LA. From the popular Crispy Branzino with squid ink to twists on modern classics, you’ll soon discover why it’s one of the best Thai restaurants near me.

Mouthwatering Thai Food

After the success of their first restaurant in Anaheim, the Suwatlucku family exquisitely crafted their family recipes blending new flavors like the yuzu coconut vinaigrette and basil oil in their King Crudo dish of scallop, yellowtail, and caviar, and their Enoki Mushroom Crisps with spicy mayo and house seasoning. The slow-roasted Honey Pork Belly seared with fried onion and garlic was delicious as well as the Bulgogi Fried Dumplings!

Cheers to Cocktails and Drinks

Their creativity doesn’t end at their food menu – White Elephant also has a selection refreshing cocktails like their Sabai Sabai, featuring Sabé, agave and botanicals like yuzu and basil. For those who want non-alcoholic drinks, their Cucumber Lemonade, Hibiscus Sunset, and Ube Thai Coffee are outstanding. And if you needed one more reason to visit, for the month of July they’re collaborating with Echo Park fave teahouse Hey Hey pairing their “Dreaming Pineapples” tea, which is bright citrusy and sorbet-ish (is that a word? Man it’s been hot) along with the King Crudo appetizer  – a refreshing tropical duo that will beat that summer heat.
