August is Black Business Month, and to celebrate, Prosperity Market – the mobile farmers market spotlighting Black farmers, food producers, chefs, and entrepreneurs in Los Angeles will host its 4th annual Black Business Scavenger Hunt, leading participants to discover 100+ Black-owned businesses across Los Angeles, from restaurants and coffee shops to fashion and retail, as well as fitness studios, coworking spaces, essential services, and more. Participants will have the chance to support black businesses, to earn points and win prizes. People can text #BBSH24 to the number 323-417-0465 to participate, and earn points by texting the keyword for each business when they visit. The map is organized by both shop category and neighborhood for easy exploration. Extra points can also be earned by making a purchase at each location.
