Tartine Venice is Now Open

Tartine Bakery has opened their sixth Los Angeles bakery and daytime restaurant in Venice. Like its other cafés in Santa Monica, Sycamore, Silver Lake, West Adams, and Pasadena, the Venice location will serve Tartine’s beloved bread, artisanal pastries, and savory breakfast and lunch items alongside Tartine coffee and freshly-brewed tea, as well as some new dishes that are exclusive to Tartine Venice: French Toast made with Tartine’s croissant bread, seasonal stone fruit, and maple syrup; Soft Scramble Tartine with labneh, white cheddar, smoked trout roe, and horseradish on country bread; and a Croque Madame packing gruyere, black forest ham, bechamel, and dijon between slices of country bread topped with melty gruyere and a sunny egg. $14.95+; Mondays – Sundays, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; 2903 Lincoln Blvd., #110, Santa Monica, CA 90405; 424.443.7727

Dot.Dot – Linden’s Guest List Only Speakeasy is Now Open in Hollywood

Linden, Hollywood’s recently opened Black-owned restaurant, has a little secret that they’re excited to share! Connected to Linden on Sunset Boulevard, Dot.Dot is a true speakeasy with zero signage in front of the bar to complete the secret vibe. The “IYKYK” secret is that guests dining at Linden can enter Dot.Dot through the back entrance instead of adding their names to the guest list. Dot.Dot and Linden have both been known to host well known musical artists, fashion stylists, and actors making it the perfect spot for LA natives or tourists looking for a new celebrity sighting hot spot! Angelenos and tourists alike wanting to visit Dot can visit their Instagram account to join the evening’s guest list, increasing their chance at entry or dine at Linden and simply enter the speakeasy after their meal through a back entrance, skipping the guest list.
