Gardena Cinema Plays Free Movies in Support of Independent Theaters (from Pluto TV)

Iconic independent theater, Gardena Cinema is hosting free movies for all residents this weekend, courtesy of Pluto TV. Built in 1946 and operated by the Kim family since 1976, Gardena Cinema is the only old-fashioned single-screen stand-alone independent movie theater in South Los Angeles. This marks the first theater as part of Pluto TV’s Summer of Cinema campaign that supports independent and family run theaters across the country.
