Ladyhawk beckons diners with a sumptuous spread of shareable delights from the heart of Chef Charbel’s Lebanese heritage. Highlights include the Ladyhawk Mezze Table – a tempting array of Hummus with Chili Sambal, Babaghanouj, and Muhammara, a refreshing Tabbouleh salad, some of the most flavorful Octopus I’ve ever had, and my personal favorite, the mouthwatering Za’atar Manouche Fermented Poolish Dough, a Mediterranean flatbread adorned with Lebanese wild thyme, olive oil, tomatoes, herbs, and labneh.
Chef Charbel Hayek curated an outstanding list of main courses, using wood-fired grills and expert aging techniques, promising an extraordinary gastronomic journey. Choose from items like the Aged Rohan Duck, infused with rose blossom, Szechuan, and sesame seeds, Brandt’s Ribeye with Tamarind beef jus, and my choice, the Whole Daurade, with Spicy zhoug and pickled jalapeños. The fish was light, robust, and delicious. And make sure to save room for the Passionfruit Muhalabieh dessert – milk pudding, rose blossom, pistachio, and mango harmoniously combined.
Ladyhawk’s curated beverage program features craft cocktails like the Persimmon Sour and rose-based Souq of Byblos.
