Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Hotels Reveal First-Ever Lobby Library

Get ready to spice up your travel adventures! Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Reese’s Book Club are joining forces to launch the first-ever Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library. Every Wednesday, Hollywood Park holds a series of FREE fitness classes as a part of their ongoing wellness program, Hollywood Park Moves Presented by Cedars-Sinai. A popular spring and summer series, Hollywood Park Moves will continue to offer energizing workout classes throughout the remainder of 2023. From its inception in June 2021, Hollywood Park Moves is a dedicated health and wellness program designed to help the Inglewood community and Los Angeles locals improve their physical and mental health through access to free exercise classes. Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday that honors and celebrates the lives of deceased loved ones through vibrant festivities, colorful decorations, and offerings at gravesites. Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant and spirited celebration of Dia de los Muertos in Los Angeles.

  • Dia de los Muertos at KA’TEEN: KA’TEEN, the Yucatan-inspired restaurant at the heart of Hollywood, extends an invitation to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos on Wednesday and Thursday.  To commence the evening with elegance, each guest will receive a welcome drink upon their arrival. The menu features special offerings, including a delectable Bone Marre dish, and an array of finely crafted specialty cocktails that include, the La Catrina, an enticing tequila concoction, combines mandarin, pasilla, marigold liquor, activated charcoal, and a lively touch of prosecco. Internationally Celebrated Little Amal Comes to Santa Monica Pier

In the spirit of hope and solidarity for displaced people everywhere, Little Amal, the internationally celebrated 12-foot-tall puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee girl, will visit the Santa Monica Pier as part of her acclaimed 6,000-mile journey across the United States. CARS (Community Arts Resources) is partnering with LA-based Kumu Hula Keali’I Ceballos, an internationally acclaimed Hawaiian and Polynesian dance teacher, and his award-winning dance company/hula school – Halau Hula Keali’I O Nalani to welcome her to the historic Santa Monica Pier. The public is invited to join the performers in welcoming Little Amal with an ocean-front celebration of voice and dance that embodies the creative life force in Hawaiian culture. Free; Thursday, 5:00 pm; 200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401
