Calling all sushi lovers. Have you been to Yume Sushi Bar? Located on Ventura Blvd, just a few blocks from Laurel Canyon, Yume Sushi Bar is referred to as one of Studio City’s “best-kept secrets.” They serve melt-on-your-tongue high-quality sushi and authentic Japanese cuisine that will transport you on a sensory journey, leaving you both satisfied and craving more.
The Menu
The restaurant’s sushi chefs offer a wide range of innovative dishes, offering skillfully prepared sushi rolls, sashimi specials, tempura, crispy rice, kushiyaki, and specialty Japanese fare.
We started with the Spicy Edamame, Shishito Peppers, and Saute Green Beans. All three were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Next, we made our way to the Albacore, Salmon, and Kamasu (Barracuda). Each piece was fresh, cut to perfection, and melted on our tongues. Our main course was the Green Dragon Roll and the delicious Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. The meal was excellent and we left with full bellies and satisfied taste buds.
The Restaurant
Yume Sushi Bar’s warm and inviting ambiance and bright wood-paneled décor make it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Guests can sit at one of the tables, but I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Here you can watch the sushi chefs in action as they meticulously prepare your meal. Outdoor seating is also available.
