To bid a flavorful farewell to this year’s national Summer Sips campaign, North Italia welcomes you to an enticing three-course prix fixe Labor Day brunch experience. This modern Italian restaurant’s brunch menu is a delightful journey that begins with a selection of delectable starters, hearty entrées, and decadent desserts.
I had the opportunity to sample the brunch and all I can say is wow! My taste buds and I were blown away by the mouthwatering meal and overall experience. We started with the tempting Banana Coffee Cake (to die for) and savory Charcuterie Plate, perfect for those seeking a taste of Italy’s finest cured meats and cheeses.
Moving on to the heart of the brunch, I opted for the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast. It was packed with flavor and made me smile with each bite. My mom chose the Pollo Frito, (crispy chicken breast, Italian sausage gravy, sunny side up eggs, crispy hash potato), and was delighted by the uniqueness of the dish and the portion size (she had plenty for leftovers). Other entrée highlights include Cannoli French Toast, Farmer’s Market Scramble, Breakfast Carbonara Pasta, and Grilled Beef Tenderloin & Eggs.
We concluded our brunch with the indulgent Salted Caramel Budino and irresistible Italian Donuts for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious.
For those like me who enjoy pairing their brunch with a refreshing libation, North Italia offers a selection of select brunch cocktails priced at $10 each. Standouts include the You, Me & Capri, which blends the bitterness of Campari with the sweetness of peach and the effervescence of sparkling rose, and my favorite, the Breakfast Mule featuring Crop Meyer lemon vodka, peach, fresh lemon, ginger beer, and sparkling rose for a zesty and invigorating option.
With this prix fixe Labor Day brunch, North Italia invites guests to savor the essence of modern Italian cuisine while celebrating the end of summer, making it a memorable and delectable way to bid adieu to the season’s culinary festivities. $35; Saturday – Sunday, various hours and locations
