Never-Before-Seen Images of Hollywood Icons to be Revealed at Gallery 33’s Star Struck Exhibition in Santa Monica
Gallery 33 at The Georgian is pleased to announce its second exhibition, Star Struck, a captivating photography show featuring never-before-seen images of Hollywood icons including James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and more. Star Struck will also offer a unique selection of recently uncovered negatives that will be seen by the public for the first time. A history lesson on photo editing that dates back to the late 1800s, these negatives have been meticulously retouched using a graphite pencil against a backlit LED screen to create flawless beauty. The process yields remarkable results including refining bone structures, smoothing skin, and slimming appearance. Two original negatives will be on display beside the retouched images, demonstrating the meticulous process of photoshopping conducted in the early-mid 1900s. The west coast steakhouse chain, Black Angus Steakhouse, invites you to the Brewcraft Experience Dinner. The special one-night-only dinner features a three-course chef-crafted menu complemented by premium beer-infused cocktails. The dinner will start with Cowboy Crack, crispy fried chicken skins with a beer cheese dipping sauce paired with a Summertime Shandy.
