Award-Winning Chicas Tacos Opens Second Orange County Location
Chicas Tacos, the award-winning Mexican fast-casual concept and home to “A Better Taco,” announces the opening of their second Orange County location. The menu will feature some key sought-after staples, including the award-winning Beer Battered Fish Tacos and Michelin Bib Gourmand flour tortillas used to make our burritos, tacos, and pizzas. CicLAvia Kicks off 2023 Season with LA Ale Works Beer Collaboration Celebration/Fundraiser at Culver City Tasting Room
Tonight, 501c3 non-profit CicLAvia has partnered with Los Angeles Ale Works to kick off the 2023 season and launch a beer collaboration with a West Coast IPA affectionately named seek-la-VEE-ah. To celebrate the launch, CicLAvia and Los Angeles Ale Works will work in conjunction with Culver City Arts District Night Market, where there will be several food trucks, music, games, local vendors, Wags and Walks dogs up for adoption, other special entertainment, and kid-friendly activities such as The Ballusionist. In addition, CicLAvia will be on-site selling merchandise and sharing information about the 2023 schedule. All ages are welcome. A portion of the proceeds from the event and all future sales of seek-la-VEE-ah will be donated to CicLAvia. Benny Boy Brewing is hosting a “Meet the Makers” & Bottle Release event for the launch of Harvest Handshake, a sparkling rosé cider created in collaboration with Pali Wine Co. The event will be a guided tasting experience celebrating “cider is wine” by the makers themselves: Benny Boy Brewing’s cidermaker Benny Farber and Pali Wine Co.’s winemaker Aaron Walker. The premier outdoor luxury food and beverage festival will return to the historic Pasadena Rose Bowl on 4/2 with Chef Michael Reed and Kwini Reed as Hosts. Host Chef Michael Reed is a classically trained chef and restaurateur who has spent 19 years as a chef for restaurants across New York and Los Angeles. Today, Chef Reed is the co-owner and Executive Chef behind two Los Angeles restaurants, Poppy + Rose of Downtown Los Angeles and Anaheim’s Poppy & Seed.
