Giving Tuesday: A Kid Like Aundon
Last week was Thanksgiving, and we gave thanks. This week is Giving Tuesday, and we give back. Giving Tuesday, a global movement inspiring generosity, philanthropy, and encouraging people to do good. In honor of this day of giving, I would like to raise awareness for a cause that is very dear to my heart. Meet A Kid Like Aundon, a nonprofit organization that supports families and children contending with varying disabilities or needs by providing them the language, the resources, and the space to give them much-needed encouragement and support. A Kid Like Aundon was “inspired by the journey of Aundon Cade, but truthfully, we are here to help every child. Save the Date (12/4): La Peer Hotel’s 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar to Give Back to Paw Works Animal Rescue
West Hollywood’s La Peer Hotel is hosting its 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar to raise money for Paw Works, a nonprofit animal rescue organization hosting a pet adoption at the event. The Holiday Bazaar will feature a curated roster of favorite homegrown small businesses, artisans, and designers. Guests can shop from a variety of options, including pet, jewelry, fashion, health, and wellness vendors. The event will also feature gift-wrapping services, sweets & treats, food trucks, unique art, a pet lounge, a live DJ, and guests will also have the opportunity to have their own furry friends photographed in the spirit of the holidays. Additionally, for this year’s Giving Tuesday, Paw Works has partnered with The Kenrose Kitchen Table Foundation, which will provide a matching grant of up to $50,000 for money raised for Paw Works from 11/28 – 12/4.
