Watch the 2022 FIFA World Cup at The Chap, Hollywood’s New British Pub
In honor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, The Chap, Hollywood’s newest British-inspired pub, is celebrating by airing all 11:00 am matches, starting today with USA vs. Wales. The Chap serves up comfort food favorites alongside a variety of European beers and classic cocktails, providing a place for expats and locals alike to come together and share a pint during the game. The pub will open at 8:00 am for key weekend matches and offer a special breakfast service. Sunday matches will be accompanied by The Chap’s Sunday Roast, with reservations available. Magari Launches Industry Night and New Menu Items
Tokyo-Italian restaurant Magari launches industry night on Mondays from 5- 10:00 pm. Those in the hospitality industry looking to wind down after a long shift can let off steam with 50% off drinks. Let the server know where you work and sip the Lottare Martini, Tokyo Iced Tea Highball, or the Ora D’Oro White Negroni for 50% off. Also, during lunch and dinner service, the Tokyo-Italian eatery is serving mouthwatering farm-raised prawns from TransparentSea Farm located in Downey, California. Chef Enrico Merendino marinates these extremely fresh soft shell prawns in Miso Kenzuri and serves them with Giardiniera and Salmoriglio. Blockbuster video is back! Well, the actual video store may be a part of the past, but a new immersive Blockbuster Pop-Up Bar is here. Transport yourself back to the 90s and roam the aisles of the “video store” while drinking libations from the full bar. “Instead of genres, aisles will be sectioned off by different kinds of cocktails and beers. And instead of grainy VHS tapes, you can choose from themed cocktails inspired by popular 90s and 2000s movies.” And guess what? Save the Date (12/4): La Peer Hotel’s 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar to Give Back to Paw Works Animal Rescue
West Hollywood’s La Peer Hotel is hosting its 2nd Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar to raise money for Paw Works, a nonprofit animal rescue organization which will be hosting a pet adoption at the event. The Holiday Bazaar will feature a curated roster of favorite homegrown small businesses, artisans, and designers. Guests can shop from a variety of options, including pet, jewelry, fashion, health, and wellness vendors. The event will also feature gift-wrapping services, sweets & treats, food trucks, unique art, a pet lounge, a live DJ, and guests will also have the opportunity to have their own furry friends photographed in the spirit of the holidays. Additionally, for this year’s Giving Tuesday, Paw Works has partnered with The Kenrose Kitchen Table Foundation, which will provide a match grant of up to $50,000 for money raised for Paw Works from 11/28 – 12/4.
