Mark Your Calendars (11/17): Caldo Verde Presents an Evening Inspired by Tanya Holland’s Third Cookbook California Soul

Portuguese-inspired restaurant Caldo Verde invites you to a special one-night event. Chef Suzanne Goin curated a special menu of various dishes inspired by Oakland-based chef Tanya Holland’s third cookbook, California Soul. Holland’s cookbook features a collection of modern soul food with more than 80 seasonally inspired comfort-filled recipes that trace the roots of modern California soul food to the Great Migration. Fall fashion is in full force at ROW DTLA with the opening of vintage co-op ARCADE. Established in Brooklyn in 2018 by Richard Wainwright, ARCADE offers rare and timeless vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home goods carefully sourced by resellers and public consignors. This is the first West Coast location for the retail shop, which also has a showroom in Industry City, Brooklyn.
