Looking for a place with good food, craft beers and the comfort of knowing “everybody knows your name?” Look no further, Chef Brendan Collins and manager Gary Twinn present Market Tavern, a new kind of British Gastropub with an elevated pub flair. Located at The Original Farmers Market, Market Tavern features a modern spin on a traditional British California Pub, with heavy influences of UK Rock ’N’ Roll.
The 3,400 square foot space has multiple TVs for avid sports watchers, a giant mural and collage that pays homage to Rock ‘N’ Roll greats from the 60s and 70s, and an extensive patio where you can safely eat and catch up with friends.
This unique gastropub, offers a large drink selection complete with craft beers, wine, cocktails and mocktails. The drinks pair perfectly with the English pub-inspired menu. A few of the menu favorites are the Steak-And-Ale Pie, Drunken Short Ribs, Calamari and the to die for, ooey, gooey, Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
Chef Brendan Collins has one goal – to make Market Tavern “the perfect place to gather. It has everything I love about a good pub – the food, the ambiance, a great pint, and a friendly face… It’s bloody great. It’s going to be a place my mates and family can enjoy as well.” $7+; Monday – Saturday, 11:00 am – 10: 00 pm, Monday – Friday (Happy Hour), 3:00 pm – 6: 00 pm, Sunday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm; The Original Farmers Market – 6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90036
