2018 Angel City Sports Holiday Event to Honor & Raise Funds
Angel City Sports is hosting its 2018 Annual Holiday Event. The event kicks off with the theatrical premiere of Empty Net, a documentary showcasing the 2018 Gold Medal Winning US Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. Mike Shea, a two-time Paralympian snowboarder and Angel City Athlete and Ambassador, will be the host for the evening and will be joined by other Paralympians including Taylor Lipsett (2x Gold Medalist in Sled Hockey), Mallory Weggeman (2x Paralympian, Gold Medalist in swimming) and adaptive athletes from the community. Funds raised will help provide adaptive sports clinics, competition, and equipment to athletes in Southern California with physical disabilities.
