Art of Sake Pairing Dinner
Hosted by Bone Kettle, Pasadena’s neighborhood gem redefining Southeast Asian comfort food, the Art of Sake Pairing Dinner is an exciting event focusing on the fundamentals of sake tasting and food pairing guided by World Sake Imports Sake Specialist Kerry Tamura. Utilizing the foundations poured at his family’s Chicago based sake bar, which Tamura transformed into a refined sake lounge prior to moving to Los Angeles, Tamura will enlighten an intimate seating of 20 guests as they sample the diverse spectrum of sake served alongside a meticulously paired Six-Course Tasting Menu prepared by Executive Chef Erwin Tjahyadi featuring Bone Kettle favorites and two new dishes exclusively prepared for this six-course tasting menu. The Eighth-Annual “An Evening on the Beach”
The ultimate summer evening returns with the eighth annual An Evening on the Beach, presented by Audi, at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica, to benefit St. Vincent Meals on Wheels of Los Angeles. The oceanside celebration is a unique food and wine experience, allowing you to enjoy an evening of delicious dishes with a winein hand and toes in the sand. A group of LA’s best chefs present bites, served alongside beer and wine tastings, specialty cocktails, and live music. Dress is casual, shoes are optional, and proceeds will help to provide 3,000 meals needed to feed homebound seniors and other vulnerable residents across the Los Angeles area every day. This year’s chef line-up includes Zach Pollack of Alimento and Cosa Buona, Gino Angelini of Angelini Osteria, Genevieve Gergis of Bestia and Bavel, Ray Garcia of Broken Spanish, Jonathan Grahm of Compartes Chocolates, Denis Crutchfield and Shannon Swindle of Craft Los Angeles, Hilary Henderson of CUT Beverly Hills, Mimmo Bruno of Di Stefano Cheese, Chris Feldmeier of Gabi James, Jason McClain, Adina Rivera-Schaefer and Masa Endo of The Jonathan Club, Charles Olalia of Ma’am Sir, Jude Parra-Sickels of Majordōmo, Miles Thompson of Michael’s Restaurant, Enrique Cuevas of Mikkeller DTLA, Zak Walters of The Misfit and Ingo’s Tasty Diner, Dahlia Narvaez of Pizzeria Mozza, Osteria Mozza and Chi Spacca, Carlos Cabrera of Petrossian, Mark Peel of Prawn, and Brian Bornemann of Viale dei Romani.
