It’s that special time of year again when people all over the world eat fish on Fridays. You can always get the same old fish fillet sandwich from your local fast food spot, or you can try a wild, exotic treat. Only available during this season, enjoy a delicious bowl or taco plate filled with Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp from Rubio’s.
I’m not going to lie, I love shrimp and was pretty excited to try these dishes. But would they live up to all the hype? In a word, YES! First up was the Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp Bowl. The shrimp were jumbo and delicious. Rubio’s combines the shrimp with smoked paprika, tomato butter, avocado, black beans, cabbage, salsa, rice, tortilla strips and chipotle sauce. All I can say is more please!
Another item on the Rubio’s menu featuring this fresh seafood is the Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp Two Taco Plate. Packed with the same taste as the bowl, the tacos exchange black beans for pinto beans, and rice for tortilla. For those watching their weight, this dish is only 270 calories per taco!
Make sure to try the new Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp dishes soon, as they are only available for a limited time.
