Summer Jazz Nights at Hollywood & Highland
Summer Jazz Nights, a new take on their signature summer concert series Wine & Jazz. Celebrating the 14th installment of the five-week series, the center is enhancing programming with eclectic artists and foodie-approved food and beverage options from Wolfgang Puck Catering. Your $14 donation includes food, beverage, and reserved VIP seating. All proceeds support Project Angel Food, a charity that cooks and delivers over 500,000 nutritious meals each year, free of charge, to the homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses in Los Angeles County. Dream Hollywood Opens
Located on the corner of Selma Avenue and N. Cahuenga Boulevard, Dream Hollywood’s interiors are designed by the award-winning architecture firm Rockwell Group and celebrate Los Angeles’ iconic mid-century modern architecture with garden elements and plush upholstery. The building’s façade is designed by LA-based Killefer Flammang Architects. The hotel features 178 guest rooms and suites, including an 1,800-square-foot guest house suite with private screening room and 360-degree views; an indoor/outdoor double-height lobby with retractable Nana Walls; a 11,000 sq. ft. rooftop pool; restaurant and lounge with views; a 1,000 sq. ft. gym and wellness program designed by celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson; and an activated pedestrian alleyway that serves as a public gathering space linking the hotel to dining and nightlife. Dream Hollywood also has five restaurant and nightlife venues operated by TAO Group located within and adjacent to the hotel. Tam O’Shanter’s Brander Vineyard Dinner
They are hosting a four-course wine pairing dinner highlighting Brander Vineyard. Featured wines include 2016 Sauvignon Gris, Santa Ynez Valley paired with bay scallops with watercress and mango; 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, Mesa Verde Vineyard, Santa Ynez Valley paired with a summer melon salad with ginger lime vinaigrette; 2016 Fred Red Blend, Santa Ynez Valley paired with a sirloin steak with mocha, quinoa and heirloom cherry tomatoes; and 2014 Reserve Cabernet, Santa Ynez Valley paired with caramel ice cream with passion fruit and shortbread cookies.
