Repeal Day at Eureka!
On January 16th, 1919, America passed the 18th amendment, a part of our constitution that outlawed alcohol on all levels. While this lasted thirteen long years, this was the era that created some iconic whiskeys, including Al Capone’s favorite whiskey, which Templeton Rye’s Prohibition Whiskey Blend is based on. On December 5th, 1933, the amendment was ratified, restoring one of America’s favorite past times, the ability to drink openly and freely. To this day, we still celebrate this holiday and lucky for all, Eureka! is partnering with Templeton Rye for the best celebration. Join the all-American restaurant to enjoy the most classic American drink for $5, an Old Fashioned using Templeton Rye’s Prohibition Era Whiskey, demerara sugar cube and bitters, garnished with a luxardo maraschino cherry and an orange peel. Monday; Locations here.
