The Avital Food Tour, already a mainstay in San Francisco where it originated, has now come to Los Angeles, further legitimizing it as a truly great food city. The Avital mission is to tell a story through a carefully curated four-course meal that bounces around within a neighborhood with each course at a different location, awakening the foodie and tourist in all of us. Before you get offended at the “t” word, each itinerary is designed by locals with locals in mind so there is something for everyone. The locations you can choose from are Venice, Downtown LA, and now even Koreatown. Avital goes beyond just a great meal. You will get to peek behind the curtain, meet with chefs and owners, and hear how their experiences shape their work. Each tour could vary day to day depending on timing and availability so it’s always a fresh experience.
Now a bit of warning- this is a walking tour. I know, that may seem like an insane concept here in Los Angeles, but take a second and think about NOT having road rage in Downtown LA or Venice. Pretty sweet, isn’t it? Now you can really take in the city like never before as you are led around by one of Avital’s passionate tour guides whose knowledge of LA is matched only by their appetite.
