Do you have a piece in your jewelry collection that is more priceless when it comes to memories than in monetary value? I was blessed to have a grandma who loved her jewels and left them all to my mom and I (And lucky to have a mom generous to share them).
Although her pieces of gold, diamonds, and rubies are probably pretty valuable, when it comes to the meaning behind them, there is no price that can measure what they mean to me. My most favorite, is the necklace that I wear every day and that she worn every day.
People have compared it to a license plate, a razor blade, but it’s simply an art deco piece that I not only love (and give a nod to my grandma for great taste), but has also gotten me through some tough times. It’s amazing how you feel wearing something that was once worn by someone you loved and you feel that person is watching over you. And because it was passed to me from my mom, I feel it has even more energy coursing through it. So, thank you ladies for giving me a priceless gift that I wear every day and that gives me energy I take on my journey.
