Del Frisco’s Grille at Irvine Spectrum’s Beer Dinner
They are hosting their first-ever beer dinner with The Boston Beer Company. It’s East Coast meets West Coast with The Boston Beer Company at the award-winning Del Frisco’s Grille at Irvine Spectrcum.  The menu includes Coconut Curry Pork Ribs with Rebel IPA; Pan-Seared Scallops with Grapefruit Puree and Grilled Asparagus with Cold Snap; Beer Braised Short Ribs with Sam Adams Boston Lager; and Apple Tart and Salted Caramel Sauce with Illusive Traveler Grapefruit Ale. Representatives from The Boston Beer Company will guide guests through each course explaining the nuances and flavor profiles of each beer. $35; Monday, 5 pm; 949.341.0376

Faith & Flower’s New Wine Dinner Series
Executive Chef Michael Hung and Wine Director Jared Hooper will welcome special guest Steve Clifton, winemaker and owner of Palmina Wines, for the kicks-off of their new “Terroir to Table” monthly wine dinners series. In addition, Faith & Flower has also confirmed upcoming dinners as part of this series, with Herman Story of Desparada Wines (April 27th) and Wes Hagen of Clos Pepe (May 18th). Each month, Faith & Flower will feature a different winemaker who will be collaborating closely with Hung and Hooper to create a pairing menu, available for one night only. Main Street Santa Monica welcomes this new spot from Matthew Hechter, Chris Brandon, Arsen Vasquez, and chef Maximilian DiMare. With dishes like bacon & egg salad with hot mustard vinaigrette; shrimp & grits with chorizo and fava beans; grilled country cut Niman Ranch pork chop; and pan-roasted chicken, you can see the Southern influence. Release Party for Gene Simmons is a Powerful and Attractive Man And Other Irrefutable Facts

Nest at WP24‘s seasonal cocktail selection featuring herbs and blossoms picked from the rooftop garden, include 10 Spice Mojito made with 10 Cane Rum, ginger, orange mint, lime, and Chinese 10 Spice; Manila Sky Lemonade made with Ketel 1 Citroen vodka, kalamansi lemon puree, honey-lemongrass syrup, lemon juice, lemon-lime soda; and Bangkok Berry made with Tito’s vodka, St. Germain Elderflower, strawberry, Thai basil, club soda. Mint Leaf Opens
Pasadena is getting a new spot that’s offering a fresh and elevated take on traditional Indian fare with a decor of warm, rich tones of dark oak, gold chandelier lighting fixtures and vibrant red and purple accents. Mint Leaf is offering lunch and dinner menus with an array of rich traditional favorites like Lamb Saag and Chicken Korma and a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options including Dal Makhni and Tofu Vindaloo alongside fresh and lighter takes on classic Indian recipes such as the Classic Paneer Tikka Wrap. BAMBOOZLED: FACT. FICTION. ART
The one-of-a-kind fundraiser—kicking off the Park’s brand-new literary arts series—invites you to participate in an interactive evening on April Fools’. Hosted by radio reporter Rico Gagliano and curated by writer Diana Wagman, Bamboozled will have live readings by four notable LA-based authors, Lisa Teasley, Deborah Vankin, Bill Lambrinides and Cherry Chevapravatdumrong. Then you decide whether or not each writer’s intricate stories are fact or fiction? Signed copies of the authors’ books will be awarded to the evening’s winners. Thursday, April 2:

B.S. Taqueria Opens
Ray Garcia (FIG), along with Bill Chait opens this taqueria in the former Mo-Chica location. The new spot has a colorful decor designed by All the Bells & Whistles and will serve up a casual fare. You order at the counter and grab a number before the food gets dropped off at the table. The menu has a few appetizers like chile fruit, doritos, and rice and beans. Tacos come with carnitas, chicken, carne asada, bologna, lengua, and chorizo and papas. Other items include Masa Ball Soup, Cauliflower al Pastor, arroz con leche, and tres leches cake. Beet Milanesa, along with desserts including churros, Don’t foget cocktails are by Julian Cox mixing and include concoctions like Hoja Santa, made tequila, hoja santa, cucumber, raw agave, and sal de camarones. Hours: Monday-Friday, 11 am-3 pm; 514 W 7th St., Los Angeles, CA 90014
