Ray’s & Stark Bar‘s “Culinary Bedtime Story”
They are launching their Scrooge menu at the restaurant’s new late-night program “Stark After Dark”. Executive Chef Viet Pham presents a limited-time menu inspired by the classic holiday tale, “A Christmas Carol”, with dishes and hot/cold cocktails that capture the essence of Charles Dickens’ characters. Drawing off of the characters, the Ba Humburger features a meatloaf patty, BBQ sauce, onion rings, crispy bacon and is served with tempura greens and the Tiny pataTIM includes braised pork leg, star anise, hoisin, sesame, baby bok choy and shitake mushroom; cocktail highlights include the Smokey Toddy with laphroaig, honey, velvet falernum, lemon served hot and The Three Spirit Nog with egg nog, bourbon, brandy, and dark rum served cold and spicy. Celebrate like the French by indulging in Galette des Rois. More commonly known as King’s Cake, Lyon-raised Chef Jean Pierre Bosc shares this holiday tradition perfect for late night sugar cravings with friends and family. The classic offering features layers of crispy lightly-scorned puff pastry and filled with frangipane, made from almond and vanilla pastry cream.
