Pete’s Los Angeles, (400 S Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90013; 213.617.1000) is the revamped old Pete’s Cafe, which is from Bäco Mercat/Bar Amá/Orsa & Winston chef Josef Centeno. You can come here for breakfast, lunch (starting next week) and dinner. Grab a spot in one of the dark wood booths or at a two top in the bright space that has metal bistro chairs, a small bar and white lights.
They are serving fried bologna sandwiches, Moules-frites, steak frites, BLTs with house bacon, truffle fries, and burgers like the Hellman Burger, which you can wash down with Stumptown coffee in the morning and beer or an Old Fashioned for dinner.
