Woodcat Coffee (1532 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90026) in Echo Park has joined the ranks of coffee places in Los Angeles. From husband and wife team, Saadat and Janine Awan, the relaxed coffee shop is perfect for locals to grab a cup before heading off to work, or to stick around and work on their laptops for a few hours. Plenty of plugs to go around and free WiFi make this place you’re new office.
The industrial decor is simple with a thick black stripe running up the wall, bright red walls, wooden stools and counter top, and red hanging Edison bulbs.
Beans come from San Francisco roaster, Wrecking Ball and they use a Faema E61 espresso machine. The small menu includes espresso drinks, drip coffee and pour overs. You can munch on biscottis until pastries show up. Oh, and cash only!
