One Night Only: A Dinner with Best Coast

This Monday, Los Angeles band Best Coast will collaborate with Fifty Seven to host an eclectic dinner and music event.

Start the night with cocktails in the open air, private alley patio. Best Coast is working with the mixologists at Fifty Seven to create a couple of signature cocktails, something light and refreshing from Bethany Cosentino and something spicy with Mezcal from Bobb Bruno.

Best Coast will then lead everyone inside for a casual dinner party with various Chef stations scattered around the space. Best Coast has collaborated with Fifty Seven’s current Chef-in-Residence Josh Drew to create stations that will give you an insight into Best Coast in a way that they hadn’t been able to before. Food stations will include elevated cuisine inspired by foods Best Coast has enjoyed on the road while touring, while in the studio recording, cuisine typical for native Angelenos like Best Coast, and food based on their Italian-American heritage. Dishes will include: Sticky Chicken Wings; Maple Flatbreads; Baja-style fish; salt cod with potato & smoked jalapeño; burnt scallion with pork belly & romesco; Rice Fritters with dried pear, chile paste, & honey; Mozzarella en Carozza (fried mozzarella) with preserved tomato; Pork Spare Ribs & crispy sweet potato with banana ketchup; Summer Squash Salad with mint & pistachios; and Pain Dulce with spiced chocolate ganache.After the dinner, Best Coast will head downstairs to perform a DJ set in the restaurant’s secret showcase room “Downstairs @ Fifty Seven.”
