Joan’s on Third in Studio City opens with communal tables and casual, charming décor. Joan’s on Third in Studio City features a case filled with a wide assortment of cheeses and charcuterie, a bakery display piled high with Joan’s signature pastries, cakes and cookies; and retail shelves stocked with specialty gourmet items from candy to imported mustards. They are serving up fluffy omelets, Joan’s Turkey Meatloaf, Chinese Chicken Salad, Short Rib Sandwich, Corned Beef Hash and more. Nest at WP24 presents the “Puck and Play” Menu
This family-style feast for Kings fans is ready just in time for the pre-season opener against the Anaheim Ducks and will be available during every LA Kings home game. Samberger
Umami Burger’s latest collaboration in its Artist Series will debut! Chomp down on The Samberger by Andy Samberg benefitting The Center for Early Intervention on Deafness (CEID). The Samberger ($13) features Umami Burger’s signature beef patty topped with peppers, roasted tomatoes, chopped Umami dill pickles, a kombu relish, roasted garlic aioli, poppy seeds and yellow mustard on Umami Burger’s signature bun. $1 from each burger will be donated to CEID in Berkeley.
Café Rockenwagner‘s German Menu
Located in Brentwood, CA, the relaunched German dinner menu is Leckerbissenmitvergnügen, which means “the most delicious bite of a meal”. The dishes come in three sizes: Klein (Small), Mittlere (Medium) and Groß (Large), so you can sample a wide range of German fare. Andaz West Hollywood is partnering up with V Wine Room for its third complimentary wine tasting. V Wine Room’s sommeliers will guide the tasting of expertly curated wines from boutique California wineries in the Andaz Wine Gallery. Compañía de Café Debuts Monthly Coffee Class Series
San Fernando’s newest coffee destination, Compañía de Café debuts a monthly coffee class from Director of Coffee Operations Percy Ramirez. These intimate classes focus on the art of coffee cupping—observing the taste and aromas of lightly roasted coffees. You will learn how to identify and describe various coffees based on acidity, bitterness, and sweetness. 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria Opens in Pasadena
The two-story, 5000 square foot venue is located in a structure designed in 1929 by John C. Austin, who was also the architect for the Griffith Park Observatory and Los Angeles City Hall. Also included is a 25 year old mural from famed Pasadena artist Kenton Nelson, restored to its original beauty.
