THE NICE GUY, (401 N La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90048; 310.360.9500) is a new spot from the crew behind Shorebar, Bootsy Bellows and Hooray Henry’s. The space is uber ’70s with a plethora of different materials used from yellow floral booths to dark wood walls to marble bars, this place has it all.

They have it all when it comes to their menu as well. Starters includes Black Tuscan Kale Chips with a Spiced Maple Glaze, a selection of charcuterie and salads. Main dishes include Cheddar & fontina Mac n’ Cheese with egg yolk and breadcrumbs; Blue Crab Arancini; Chicken “Park” Wings; and Thyme and Garlic infused Flat Iron Steak. They also have a selection of pizzas including Squash Blossom, Chorizo, Calabrian Chili, Petit Basque Cheese; Duck Bahn Mi; and Figs, Caramelized Onions, Gorgonzola, Balsamic Glaze and Thyme. You can also customize yours with a gluten free crust and additions like an egg, burrata, anchovies and prosciutto.

Dessert includes Fresh Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, Affogato (Hazelnut Ice Cream, Espresso, Brown Butter Breadcrumbs), Made to Order Donuts and Warm Ricotta.

The wine and Champagne list is huge, along with beer and cocktails including The Jojo (Ultimat Vodka, St. Germaine, fresh lemon juice, strawberries, and prosecco); Mother’s Milk (Tito’s Vodka, house made chocolate milk, soda water); The Pretty Boy Floyd (Nolet’s Gin, blackberries, honey, and coconut cream) Daddy’s Little Angel (Silencio Mezcal, pineapple juice, organic agave nectar, fresh lemon juice, Angostura bitters halo); The Bobby Soxer (Casamigos Reposado, blackberries, fresh lemon juice, honey, Campari, and fresno chili peppers), just to name a few…
