Tatsu Ramen (7111 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046) has opened their second location (first is on Sawtelle) on the corner of Melrose and La Brea (my hood). They are joining, neighbors, M Cafe and Lucifer’s Pizza and have a hard to miss dragon mural outside. Here, they make their noodles in house and you can watch. They also cook their broth for 18 hours. After you order on an iPad, grab a seat in the dining area. Menu items are the same as their first location and include Bold Ramen, Old Skool Ramen (a basic bowl), Naked (broth on the side), Black Ramen, Red Ramen and Soul Ramen (Tonkotsu with garlic oil and sweet umami sauce). You can also customize your order. So, vegetarians and vegans are welcome!
Open Sunday-Wednesday, 11 am-2 pm and Thursday-Saturday, 11 am-3 am.
