L’Amande Bakery & Café, (9530 S Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90210; 310.326.8980) loves baking with almonds…L’Amande means the “almond” in French, after all. They find almonds to be fine, have a subtle flavor and distinct texture that’s perfect for breads and pastries. They aim to have all their products be simple, authentic, and crisp, using traditional French recipes.
