The Fairfax District’s Farmer’s Daughter Hotel and TART restaurant team with local nonprofit the Los Angeles Youth Network to host “TART Uncorked.” Hosted by Ellen Picataggio and Ann Marie Spinelli, the wine tasting and fundraising event features wine curated by General Manager and Sommelier Mary Thompson, seasonal small bites from Executive Chef Nick Erven, and the opportunity to bid on an exclusive selection of silent auction items—from an overnight getaway for two at Jordan Vineyard and Winery and a $500 gift card to Bliss Spa, to a raffle of the event chair’s favorite wines. All proceeds from the event will go to support the non-profit organization, which assists homeless youth in Los Angeles by providing housing and teaching independent living skills.
In addition to food and wine from Jordan Winery, Chandon Winery, Club W, and Gallo Wines, enjoy the sounds of Flamenco guitarist Walter Molina. Small bites include Watermelon, Tomato, and Jicama Skewers with harissa and mint; Bay Scallop Ceviche on a crispy rice cracker; andOysters on the Half Shell with pink peppercorn mignonette.
