Cofax

Cofax (440 N Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036) is adding to the Fairfax coffee scene. The guys (Jason Bernstein and James Starr) behind The Golden State and Bludso’s are now in the coffee game. Decked out in blue and white all the way down to the bright blue La Marzocco espresso machine, they also have white subway tiles, and a wrap-around counter serving up Stumptown coffee and espresso drinks. To go with your drinks, they will have Donut Snob’s gourmet doughnuts and (coming soon) house-made breakfast burritos. They will also feature a monthly guest roaster, but no word on who June’s roaster will be. Open daily.
