Hotel MdR has welcomed Barbianca,(13480 Maxella Ave., Marina del Rey, CA 90292) a California/Itallian restaurant has small plates like fritto misto (Pacific shrimp, calamari, zucchini, peppers, fennel, lemon, with house-made marinara sauce and roasted polenta cake
with foraged mushrooms, Parmigiano-Reggiano, truffle sauce, and chives. Stone Oven House-Made Pizzettas come in organic vegetable with grilled zucchini, eggplant, red peppers, mushrooms, cured olives, mozzarella, herb garlic oil; organic chicken with mozzarella, vine-ripened cherry tomatoes, basil pesto; and prosciutto with béchamel, wild arugula, mozzarella,
red peppers. 

Feast on dishes including artichoke ravioli with mozzarella, herb ricotta, cured olives, and a light marinara sauce; shrimp garganelli (sautéed pacific shrimp, herb cream, zucchini, garlic, fresh tomatoes, fava bean pesto); short rib bolognese fresh fettuccine, house-made short rib bolognese sauce, herb ricotta, parmigiano-reggiano; seared salmon, grilled asparagus, golden raisins, smoked almonds, lemon brown butter; Niman Ranch pork chop tuscan white beans, prosciutto, tomato, sage oil; braised beef short ribs with roasted organic root vegetables, natural jus, horseradish gremolata.

They also have a daily brucshetta board that includes varities like oven-dried roma tomatoes, creamy sonoma goat cheese, herb microgreens; vine-ripened tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, first-pressed Napa Valley olive oil, parmigiano-reggiano; broccoli rabe, crisp pancetta, roasted garlic, pecorino, chili oil; house-made veal meatballs, classic tomato sauce, aged ricotta salata; Napa Valley olive oil-poached tuna salad, red onions, cured olives, caper aioli; and Meyer lemon-braised artichokes, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Napa Valley herb olive oil.
