Owner of one of my most favorite Venice eateries, Oscar’s Cerveteca, Oscar Hermosillo, proprietor of Venice Beach Wines, has soft launched a smaller version, Cerveteca (523 Rose Ave., Venice, 90291; 310.310.8937) on the Venice Boardwalk. Opened near Windward Circle, the walk-up counter is serving up Mexican fare including tacos, tortas and some specials.
Hours of operation run 10 am-sunset.
