Bigfoot Lodge Gets a Makeover and a Western Whiskey Menu

Bigfoot Lodge (3172 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Angeles, 90039; 323.662.9227) is The 1933 Group’s first Los Angeles outpost and after 15 years it’s gets a makeover by the original designer (and partner), Bobby Green. Now, you can enjoy your cocktail on the cozy new seating in front of the grand old fireplace or sip a home-grown California whiskey on the new rustic front patios.

In addition to Green’s transformations, Bigfoot Lodge gets a revamped cocktail menu that highlights craft whiskeys found west of the Mississippi, and introduces an new cocktail collection crafted by the famed mixologists, Marcos Tello and Aidan Demarest of Liquid Assets. The new western whiskey-focused drink list features more than 20 unique, small batch whiskeys, ryes and bourbons which hail from the great American West, including: Oregon (Clear Creek Single Malt), Utah (High West Campfire), Colorado (Leopold Whiskey Small Batch), Washington (Oola Waitsburg), Iowa (Cedar Ridge Bourbon) and California (Silver Lightning Moonshine).

Signature drinks from Tello and Demarest includes: On Top Of Old Smokey made with Bainbridge Organic Whiskey (WA), Honey, Citrus Juices and Forrest Fire; Cookie Duster made with Leopold Small Batch Whiskey (CO), Chocolate Liqueur, Cream, & Mustache; Donkey Punch made with El Silencio Mezcal, Vanilla Liqueur, Mint, Lemon; Gateway Drug made with Beefeater 24 Gin, St-Germaine Elderflower Liqueur, Prosecco; and Backwards Banana Hammock made with Selvarey White Rum, Pineapple and Cinnamon.
