Justice Urban Tavern

Justice Urban Tavern, (120 S Los Angeles St., Los Angeles, 90012) a modern California-style eatery, will open in Downtown Los Angeles in March. The stylish new restaurant will combine the classic feel of a neighborhood tavern with menus of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and balanced flavors. Operated by RIM Restaurant Group, Justice is located adjacent to Little Tokyo, the Arts District and the Civic Center. The interior will feature a massive copper-topped bar, vintage leather banquettes, earth tones and TVs disguised as antique mirrors. The spacious outdoor patio will put you right in the center of the city. The name, Justice, is a tribute to the Hall of Justice, City Hall, police department and other city and federal agencies that are in the near vicinity.

Justice’s modern cuisine, created by Executive Chef Mark Pollard (Umami Restaurant Group, Epic in Chicago, Asia De Cuba Hollywood, The Parker Hotel Palm Springs and The Standard Hotel West Hollywood), is inspired by the accessibility to natural ingredients and the impact of powerful flavors. Choose from a diverse selection that includes the signature Barrister Burger, house-crafted sandwiches, grilled pastrami, creative chicken options, salads, specialty cheeses and stout-braised short ribs. Plus, they will have a daily happy hour with a variety of specialty cocktails and an extensive list of craft beers and wines from California. Alongside Chef Pollard, Paul Trevino will serve as General Manager, whose background includes leading, developing and operating a series of restaurants in The Miracle Mile, such as El Toro Cantina, Busby’s East and The Mile High Club.

The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with dishes ranging from $10-18.
