Today, the Belly Bombz (11824 Artesia Blvd., Artesia, 90701) truck will take its cooking into a brick and mortar spoy. After two years on the road, chef/owner Albert Shim (Catal), and partner Youngho Yoo (Kogi) decided to take their Korean-styled chicken wings to a restaurant spot.
You can get their full truck menu, which includes bone-in or boneless wings in flavors like sweet and savory, Soy Caramel; sweet and spicy, Firecracker; Mom’s Recipe, that’s sweet and tangy with a hint if sesame; Sriracha Lime; Spicy Garlic Parmesan; and Bomb Dust that’s spicy, lil’ smokey, and sweet.
In addition to wings, grab Crispy Pork Sliders, Fries, Rice, and, newly added, Chego-style rice bowls. Wash it all down with craft beer, sake and soju. Open, 11 am-10 pm on weekdays, and until 12 am on weekends.
