LYFE Kitchen Opens in Tarzana

LYFE Kitchen (18700 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, CA 91356; 310.507.7841) is bringing healthy to Tarzana with an entire menu of great tasting items that have fewer than 600 calories and 1000 mg of sodium. The last thing I ate that was green was Jell-o, so naturally I was skeptical. If that wasn’t simple enough, they have three menus: Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Eat Everything. I immediately went for the Eat Everything. Needless to say they followed through on their promise, and their Quinoa Buttermilk Pancakes were amazing, even better because I know it’s actually good for me. Along with their upbeat customer service, they have me drinking the Kool-Aid. Or, in this case, the Ginger Mint Chia water.
