Tiki No’s (4657 Lankershim Blvd., 91602; 818.766.0116) cocktail consultants, Jason Bran and Damian Windsor, have created a new drink menu that celebrates tiki-era cocktails; by delivering classic drinks with top-notch spirits, liqueurs, and fresh juices. The duo, best known for their unique libations at The Roger Room on La Cienaga, recently partnered with restaurateur, Jeffrey Best, to bring their vision to Tiki No.
Bran and Windsor bring a combo of honoring the past while bringing it into the present. Cocktails include Chief Lapu Lapu with Caruba dark, white rum, orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a red passionfruit syrup; Zombie with rum, lime and grapefruit juice; Coconut Mojito with Cruzan coconut rum, mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, and a splash of coconut water.
The Tiki No happy hour drinks include the Dark and Stormy, Chief Lapu Lapu and Lychee Luau for only $6, while the two frozen drinks – the Pina Colada is always $6, and the Tiki Appletini is $8, all day and every day.
