Rusty Mullet (1708 N Las Palmas Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90028) has opened up just at the right time. It’s a new, casual place to watch sports, particularly football in Hollywood. Actor Vinny Laresca (Premiere, Outpost) took over the old Angels and King’s spot to serve up custom burgers and a $5 menu of 50 different types of shots. There is high-chaired seating, an outdoor patio, exposed-brick, and 24 flat screens, so you won’t miss one play.
The menu has American comfort food, like salads, sandwiches, and burgers like the Junkyard, which has a fried egg, bacon, pulled pork, and slaw on it.
Open daily at 4 pm with buy one, get one for $1 drinks until 8 pm and late night happy hour from Sunday-Thursday.
