Malibu Farm (23000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, 90265) is a pop-up from Helene Henderson, who owns a two acre organic farm at her Malibu home. Created on a whim, Malibu Farm is the product of dinner parties and cooking with ingredients from her farm. People loved her dinners and they asked for her do pop-up meals at various Malibu spots. Now, the pop-up is on The Malibu Pier.
Henderson and friend/interior designer Vanessa Alexander designed a beachy space with alfresco, weathered wood tables, industrial metal seats, and boxes of seasonal produce off Henderson’s Malibu farm. For now, she is serving breakfast and lunch. Dishes will include quinoa oatmeal with coconut milk and maple syrup; kale Caesar salad; and Brussels sprouts lavash pizza. Coffee is by Caffe Luxxe and The Pier is licensed to serve alcohol, so Henderson is waiting on her permits to let the drinks flow.
