33 Taps

33 Taps, (6263 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, 90028; 323.962.1400) is located at the famed intersection of Hollywood and Vine, and is a new 205-seat neighborhood sports bar and restaurant. Just in time for football season, it’s a great spot to watch the big game, meet up with friends, kick off a night out or have a meal. 33 Taps has a wide selection of hearty food and drink, and over 40 HD TV’s broadcasting all professional and collegiate sporting events.

The restaurant’s exterior is wrapped with a series of iconic pictures taken by legendary sports photographer, Walter Iooss. For a more classic look inside, 33 Taps has dark woods, hardwood floors and a marble bar tops. A staircase in the center of the main dining room leads to an upstairs dining area with its own bar, a 23-foot long communal table—which seats 33—and foosball and pool tables. Vine Bar, a private dining room on the first floor, features a separate private entrance, a 12-foot projection HD screen, 7 high-definition TV’s and a dedicated bar, making it an ideal space for a big event.

As its name implies, 33 Taps is a haven for draft beer, and they have choices from popular domestic and international brews, which come in two sizes: pint ($3-6) and 20 oz. A menu of beer cocktails like Micheladas, Boilermakers and Porchcrawlers, and shot-and-beer combinations are also available. Not a beer drinker? There’s a variety of champagne cocktails, a full liquor bar and a selection of wines by the glass.

Though 33 Taps has a strong emphasis on its beverages, it also features a menu of freshly made, affordable Americana-inspired pub fare. The menu even incorporates beer into a few dishes, such as Beer-Baked Mac N’ Cheese with amber ale and a blend of four cheeses (Parmesan, blue, cheddar and Brie). Other signature dishes include baked 666 Diablo Wings tossed in a fiery habanero sauce; the Smash Burger topped with grilled onions and American cheese; and beer-battered Fish & Chips. Vegetarians can chow down on the Margherita flatbread topped with basil, tomatoes and mozzarella; and Penne Pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and wilted spinach.

For something sweet, try 33 Taps’ signature dessert: The UFO, a deep-fried oatmeal cookie sandwich filled with maple buttercream served on a scoop of vanilla ice and caramel sauce. There are also selections of ice creams and classic desserts, like an apple tart and chocolate lava cake.

Drink and food specials are offered throughout the week during after-work and late-night happy hours, and, of course, on game days when 33 Taps will also run a variety of fan-based offerings, trivia and contests in the restaurant and on social media.

Open daily from 11:30 am – 2 am.
