Red Bread (13322 W. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles), is the new Culver City artisan market and cafe from couple Rose and David Lawrence. They are getting ready for a July 20 debut. The idea of Red Bread came from being a farmers market stand and social justice slow food eGrocer site at first. It’s an organic artisan kitchen and grocer delivering by electric bicycle to your door Sunday mornings on the Westside of Los Angeles. They now have a spot with one small communal dining table, shelving to stock local artisan goods, and house-made items like pickles, cheese, and their signature wild sourdough. Soon there will be a small breakfast and lunch menu for dine-in or to-go.
They work directly with the best farms and artisan food purveyors in California to create a local and curated market experience. 5% of every sale goes to the LA Food Bank. Feed Yourself, Feed Your Community.
