Chefs and caterers Jerry and Chris Baker and partner Michael LaFetra announce their new lunch offering at TINGA Santa Monica. The menu includes: Tacos Al Pastor de Jerry with guajillo-rubbed and pineapple-marinated pork with Caribbean kick and grilled pineapple lime salsa and scotch bonnet peppers; TINGA Tacos with chipotle steeped shredded chicken, shredded lettuce, crema and pickled red onions; The Genesis, Grilled Cumin and Garlic Cumin & Garlic Rubbed Pork Loin with poblanos, Oaxaca and pepper jack cheese and ahogado salsa as well as homemade tortillas, salsas and tapatio with vine ripe tomatoes, fresh chiles, Bacon Guacamole with fresh avocado, Nueske’s Apple Smoked Bacon and Chicharones.
The menu also has vegan and vegetarian options like Chickpea and Broccoli Falafel Taco with salsa suegra and tequila salsa; Elote Especial with grilled sweet corn, creamy lime, chili and poblano puree; and Chile Relleno Burrito with arroz con crema, refried beans and chipotle salsa.
Open daily from 11:30-2 am, serving until 1:30 am, and happy hour is from 3 – 6:30 pm and 10:30 pm until close.
