Mendocino Farms New Menu

Mendocino Farms is starting the summer with a new menu of dishes. Available now through August, sample delicious selections from the Los Angeles sandwich and salad staple with a continued focus on the season’s produce from local farms, including Scarborough and Drake Family.

New items include Shrimp Rich’Boy, garlic-marinated cajun shrimp topped with meyer lemon relish aioli, prime applewood smoked bacon, mendo’s krispies, candied jalapenos, tomatoes, and shredded romaine on Dolce Forno roll; The V7 Whole-Grain Vegan Burger made of a housemade 7-vegetable burger with smashed avocado, vegenaise, pickles, red onions, tomatoes, Scarborough Farms’ butter and romaine lettuces on a toasted quinoa bun; a Summer Cubano with slow-braised carnitas, prime honey ham, Mendocino mustard, housemade dill pickles, Cuban mojo sauce, and crispy plantains on Dolce Forno soft roll; and the Wheatberry Kale Caesar, a healthy take on the classic Caesar with local kale, Scarborough Farms’ butter and romaine lettuces, wheatberries, red onions, grape tomatoes, avocado, and parmesan tossed in a lemon-parmesan vinaigrette.

Also new at Mendocino Farms, is anew catering packages that is perfect for any summer event. Mendocino Farms offers three tiers, The Baby Blue Package, Foodie Package, and “Out Of The Box” Picnic Box Lunch with different pricing to accommodate any party size. The Baby Blue Package is priced between $65-190 and serves 5-20 people, featuring a selection of Mendocino Farms’ sandwiches paired with a House Field Green Salad. The Foodie Package, which for $105-245 serves a crowd of 6-20 a selection of Gourmet Grain Salad, Specialty Leafy Salad, and assorted sandwiches and premium dessert trays. The “Out Of The Box” Picnic Box Lunch is perfect for 10+, priced at $12.50/person featuring a selection of sandwich options paired with two sides, including Housemade Pasta Salad, Field Green Salad, Fresh Baked Cookie, and more.

Whatever you chose to enjoy, you will be eating locally and seasonally, supporting artisans and the Slow Food Movement, and experiencing classic regional sandwiches imbued with a modern interpretation.
