Want a brunch the is quiet and away from craziness of Los Angeles? I mean busy, boozy, brunches can be fun, but I need a quiet spot sometimes to just wind down. Head to The Roof on The Wilshire. Eric Greenspan has a new Lean & Mean menu that will satisfy anyone in your party.
The lean side focuses on items like Yogurt Parfait, Smoked Salmon Platter, Salads, and my favorites, the Egg White Scramble and Nori Nachos. If you like sushi and you like nachos, you may need a moment alone. The crunchy rice crackers pairs perfectly with the smooth ahi tuna and salmon roe. These are by far one of my favorite dishes in Los Angeles.
On the mean side, for those of you who need to soak up a hangover, there are dishes like, Waffle Benedict (poached eggs, apples, apple gravy, ham), Orange Brandy French Toast, Egg Sandwiches, and Eric Greenspan’s famous Pancake Lasagna and Grilled Cheese.
Either side you lean towards, they are both great and satisfying. Plus, you can’t beat the view. Wash it all down with their refreshing tonics or bottomless mimosas.
