Carson House (8635 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, 90211; 310.289.2800) is a new restaurant with a relaxed, living room, and bar atmosphere opening today at 5 pm by partners Steve Fowler and Scott Paletz (Platinum Events). It’s perfect for grabbing a few friends to catch up and have a more chill night out.
Grab a spot on one of their many couches or the long bar and order up the American pub menu by chef Johnny Messina (Conga Room, Brix @ 1601). Plates include Kobe corn pups, a French onion burger, Philly cheesesteak pot stickers, short rib pizza from a brick oven, and a pretzel burger. Wash it all down with cocktails like The Rodeo (vodka, St. Germain, cucumber garnished with a fresh rose petal) and The Crescent (prosecco, fresh orange juice, strawberry puree, mint) created by Patrick Brady (Jekyll & Hyde NYC, The Crescent Hotel).
The restaurant’s 20 beers on tap and 40 beers by bottle were chosen by beer director Kevin Olson. Dinner runs Sunday-Wednesday, 5-10 pm and Thursday- Saturday, 5 pm-midnight. Bar hours run Sunday-Wednesday, 5-11 pm and Thursday-Saturday from 5 pm-2 am.
